Welcome to Grade One

Dear Parents, Guardians and 1H Families,

I am so excited to have your child in my grade 1 class this year.  I can’t wait to get started and show you all of the exciting things we have planned! I grew up in Hanna, Alberta and my husband and I have been living in Airdrie for 4 years.  We have two terrific daughters Emily and Lauryn who keep us busy!  I graduated with my Bachelor of Education from the University of Edmonton and have been teaching for 9 years.  I started working at Nose Creek in March of last year and am thrilled to be back!

I love teaching early elementary and all of the exploring, learning and fun we get to have! It is important to me that all of my students feel successful, safe and loved every single day in my classroom.  So, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.  It is going to be a great year of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries!
