Friendship Finders
Friendship Finders motto is "Were looking for you". Each day groups of Grade 2 and Grade 3 student’s in bright yellow vest scour our playground at recesses looking for students who have no one to play with. They offer friendship and advice on how to make friends.
Peer Helpers
Teams of grade 4 students volunteer their time to help make Nose Creek school the great school it is. They do morning announcements, handle recycling of paper and juice boxes, help in the gym and much more.
Airdrie Co-Op Community Program
Nose Creek School is now collecting Airdrie Co-op receipts. We will get a 1% rebate of the total receipts collected. So please send all your receipts for the Airdrie Co-Op to the office to be put in the collection box.
Proceeds go toward our playground.
PRO Awards
"People Respecting Others" is our student recognition awards that take place 4 times per year. Pro Awards are based on one's character they display around Nose Creek School. Teachers nominate students for these awards.
Lamplighter Awards
Lamplighter Awards are presented annually based on an individual’s positive relationships, great attitude, and commitment to school and leadership here or in the community. They are a "shining light" for others to follow.
Story Week
A "Celebration of Story" is highlighted annually here at Nose Creek. Stories are shared through art literature, plays, musicals and more. Writers, Illustrators and entertainers are invited in to help accentuate the week.
Virtues Program
Virtues are prominently displayed and reinforced throughout the school year in class and in school wide promotions. These are the foundation of Pro Awards.
Boys & Girls Club Program- Before/After School Care
The Boys & Girls Club offers a before/after school program that is provided in our gym for Grades 1 - 4 students only. For further information about this program, or to sign up for the program, please call 403-554-6508.
