Mrs. Elena Cormier

My name is Elena Cormier and I will be your child’s Grade 3 teacher this school year.  This is my thirteenth year here as a teacher and was a parent of two children here for ten years.  I have a daughter named Vanessa who just graduated high school) and a younger son named Xavier (grade 10) who had gone to school at Nose Creek and enjoyed their teachers and experiences here. I want your children leaving here with many wonderful and amazing experiences and memories as well.

I have had twenty-three years of teaching experience, most of which have been with Kindergarten, Grade 1 and 3. This is my eighth year teaching Grade 3 and I am loving it!  I embrace new challenges and look forward to learning and sharing new things with my students.

At Nose Creek, literacy is the focus of our school. That is a perfect fit for me and is one of the many reasons I came to Nose Creek Elementary.  Learning to read and loving to read helps build a foundation for success in all areas of education and life.  I look forward to working with you and your child this year and making it a special one.
