Dear 3F Families,

Welcome to Grade 3! I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. We will learn and grow so much together. I look forward to partnering with you to give your third grader the best year that they can possibly have. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach at Nose Creek Elementary again this year and I'm excited to be a part of this wonderful school community.

I grew up in Halton Hills, Ontario and moved to Ottawa where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Carleton University. I completed my teaching qualifications at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. I loved the culture so much that I decided to stay and teach in the Queensland outback. In 2018 I moved to Alberta and have been teaching Grade 3 ever since.

While living overseas, I became passionate about embedding positive psychology into schools. My aim is to put every individuals well-being at the heart of their education. Creating a flourishing learning environment where students feel safe, supported and challenged is my priority. I believe all learners have inherit strengths that need to be nurtured so that children can discover their best possible self.
