NCES Sight Word Games & Activities
- When working with your children on growing their sight word reading and spelling skills towards automaticity (as in, they can recognize and spell these words automatically and with little to no effort), remember to work on these tasks for a few minutes each night, at least 4 nights per week. Make it short, sweet, and fun, and do it daily to maximize your child's growth and confidence with their sight words - helping your child learn and love literacy!
